We've unearthed the 2nd cousin [twice removed] of the SMOK Cloud Beast and Baby Beast range.

Meet the OBS VTank.

This tank takes cloud chasing to a whole new level of insanity.  I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it.  It was born to sit atop the nastiest 200W - 230W MOD [box or otherwise] that you can find with enough guts to drive it . . . something like ummmm . . . I don't know . . . maybe the AK-47 TC 200W Box MOD . . . now there's a thought . . .   But seriously, when we found the AK-47, we needed to find a tank that was worthy of such an amazing machine and several weeks of research evolved into the OBS VTank.

And it is actually related to SMOK : I'm pretty sure they're made by the same people, and that's cool too.

Top quality materials [high strength 304 stainless steel, food grade, heat resistant quartz glass and double round Kanthal coil wires] combine with an innovative design to produce an improved side filling tank and 3 cloud chasing 0.15 Ohm coils, each marked with it's power range capabilities.  Then OBS went one step further to mark each coil with it's "Best" power range so you don't have to guess.

The VTank has an operating power range from 70W - 230W, so it needs some serious power to drive it properly and ensure you get the full benefit of those enormous coils.  Speaking of those enormous coils, they can make her a little thirsty, especially the V12 coil, but you won't care if she drinks a bottle a day once you've seen what she can do . . .

OBS has put together the perfect kit, it's got everything you need and more.
Here's what's in the Kit :
1 x VTank : complete unit
1 x V8 Coil
1 x V10 Coil
1 x V12 Coil
1 x Glass Tank : spare part
3 x Tank Seals : spare parts
1 x Vape Band
2 x Mouthpieces : 1 x Standard, 1 x Extension
1 x Mouthpiece Adapter
1 x User Manual
See? They thought of everything.

I almost forgot to tell you about the Mouthpieces supplied in the Kit.  There are two, well, three really, if you count the adapter as a Mouthpiece . . . hmmmmmm . . . Anyway . . . The first is a standard medium bore round Mouthpiece.  The second is an extension Mouthpiece with a couple of ribs on the side of it.  Sean said he felt that it cooled the vapor a little and made the draw a little smoother as well.  Test them out for yourself and see which you prefer.  I'm not entirely sure where the adapter comes into it so if you happen to work it out, please enlighten the rest of us.
To change Mouthpieces, take hold of the Mouthpiece and pull up.  You may want to use your other hand to hold the Top Cap down, so it doesn't open when you pull on the Mouthpiece.  The Mouthpiece will pull out fairly easily and the new one will click into place when you push it down into the housing : that's also how you know you've got the Mouthpiece in properly and it's seated correctly [it clicks into place].

Remember when you're filling the tank, you're filling directly into the tank, so keep an eye on the liquid level and don't try to over fill . . . you'll only end up with liquid everywhere..

It's a good idea to wipe around the ring on the tank where the juice holes are when you've finished filling, just to make sure there's no excess liquid on the ring anywhere.  Sean runs his finger around the ring before he pushes the Top Cap back down, does the job nicely [and of course, wipes his finger on his shorts or T-shirt . . . heavy sigh].

Because these coils are so enormous and hold so much liquid, you don't have to be as particular when judging when to refill the tank.  Generally speaking, you're told not to let the liquid level fall below the juice holes in the coil, but we're talking about coils with maybe one or up to 4 little holes.  The juice holes in these coils are suitably enormous to match the enormous tank [5.2ml capacity . . . OMG!] so you can allow the liquid level to drop a little lower than the top of the juice hole without creating issues for yourself.  I would however, make sure that the liquid level was always at least half way up the body of the coil.  Because the juice holes are so large, you should actually be able to see if the organic cotton in the coil has started to dry out : the cotton will look dry and will be lighter in colour compared to the rest of the organic cotton, still submerged in liquid.  Best practice would be to keep an eye on the liquid level and refill as necessary : you'll get a feel for what 'necessary' means as you get to know your VTank.  You should get at least a day out of one tank, using the V8 coil, maybe longer, however keep in mind that the higher the number of coils in the coil you're using [V8 = 8 coils : V10 = 10 coils : V12 = 12 coils], the thirstier she'll be..

On the topic of liquid levels in the Tank, I noticed that Sean swirls the liquid around in the Tank so that each of the juice holes gets a fresh coating of liquid before he takes a vape.  Thought that was a pretty good idea and it should eliminate the possibility of dry hits or drying out the coil.

THIS IS THE IMPORTANT STUFF YOU NEED TO REMEMBER :
* Never, never, never dry fire these coils.  Aside from the revolting dry hit you'll get, the coil will fry instantly and boy, does that smell hang around for ages.
* Never, never, never let the liquid level fall below half way down the coil body.
If it drops that far, it's possible that the top of the coil will already have started to dry out.
You should be able to see if the organic cotton looks dry by looking through the glass and checking the juice holes.  If the organic cotton looks dry and is a lighter colour than the rest of the cotton still submerged in liquid, then it's fairly certain that the top part of the coil has begun to dry out.  Vaping now would most likely fry the coil.  Keep the tank topped up and you avoid the problem entirely.
* Always prime a new coil before you fill the tank.  Again, because the juice holes in these coils are so enormous, you really need to prime the coil and you don't really need to worry about restricting the number of drops you put into the organic cotton to one or two . . . these holes are big enough for you to add five or six drops [or whatever it takes to wet all the organic cotton you can see through the juice hole].  Don't go over board and pour half a bottle into each hole, it'll just start running out everywhere, but you can definitely use more than a couple of drops when priming these coils.
