And now, Kanger takes the TOGO Mini one step further with a larger tank . . . double the size of the original TOGO Mini 2.0 . . . meet the TOGO Mini or TOGO Mini 4.0 if you prefer.
And just like it's smaller capacity cousin, it'll crank out clouds of vapor right along side those huge monster vapes with ridiculous amounts of power . . . what on earth do you need a 350W MOD for anyway??
Being the same size as our little Kanger friend, it'll still disappear in even the smallest of hands to keep you're vaping under the radar.
It has a built in 1600mAh Li battery, which should see a full day of vaping without recharging, from the perspective of a moderate vaper. The screen on top of the body [above the fire button] shows the charge level of the battery progressively as a series of dots, 5 dots indicating the unit is fully charged. She'll let you know when she needs recharging by flashing the LED dots 15 times and shutting down the battery.
To charge the TOGO Mini, plug the Micro USB cable into the port on the back of the unit and then connect the other end to a powered wall plug adaptor or high speed port on your computer. If you're not sure which of your computer ports is the highest speed and voltage, check your manual or Google it, cause using a low speed port may not charge the battery fully or properly. And don't use just any charger cable, make sure you use the cable supplied in the Kit. While the battery's charging, the LED dots will show progressively until all 5 are lit, indicating the unit is fully charged.
To lock or unlock the unit, you use the same standard method that all e-cigs use : 5 fast clicks to turn it on and 5 fast clicks to turn it off. The battery has all the usual protections, automatic shut down when the fire button is held down for more than 10 seconds, the LED dots will flash 6 times before the TOGO shuts down if it overheats, [which is unlikely cause of the funky little vents in the base of the unit, there to dissipate any heat build up] and the extremely helpful warning where the LED dots flash 3 times to indicate the coil resistance is too low or the coil is faulty . . . either way, you know you need to replace the coil. This funky little feature is being seen in more e-cigs as new versions and styles are born . . . YAY!
This next generation of Box MOD has bought some great features into play, such as the hugely popular internal tank which not only reduces the risk of breaking tanks but also cuts down the overall height of the e-cig : you don't have a dirty great big atomiser hanging off the top of the battery. It also affords the easiest fill you could hope for : unscrew and remove the all-in-one atomiser, pour liquid directly into the well of the tank and screw the atomiser back into place . . . does it get any easier than that?
Well, actually, yes it does . . . it does get easier that that if you're talking about changing coils . . . well at least as easy . . . Again, it's the same simple process of unscrewing and removing the atomiser, unscrewing and tossing the spent coil and screwing on a new one. Prime the coil by putting a few drops of liquid into the holes in the side of the coil body and screw the atomiser back into place.
Both of the TOGO Mini models run a CLOCC coil with a resistance greater than 0.15 ohms . . . and you can't try and trick it either . . . the battery will know if you try to slip a lower resistance coil past it and it'll flash the LED dots at you!
The kit for the TOGO Mini 4.0 contains two coils : the standard CLOCC SS316L - 0.5 ohm that's factory 'fitted' in the Mini 2.0 and a CLOCC NiCr coil - 1.0 ohms, giving you the opportunity to test the theory on both coils and see which suits your vape style best.
Just in case you're wondering, CLOCC translates to Child Lock Organic Cotton Coil.
The Air Flow Ring is the only adjustment you need, giving you ultimate control over the amount of vapor you produce and how the draw feels to you. Opening the Air Flow results in more vapor and the more vapor it throws out, the bigger the hit for you, so open that sucker up all the way and cloud yourself out . . . Yeah!
Now if you are unlucky enough to break the tank, it's another simple process to replace it and they've even given you the World's smallest phillips head screw driver to perform the operation . . . it's like a Barbie screw driver . . . or maybe it was Ken's at some time . . . hmmmmmmmm
Yeah, anyway, remove the atomiser and you'll see 2 little tiny phillips head screws on the top of the body, towards the middle of the unit on both outer edges. Unscrew and remove them and then remove the top plate. Next remove the old tank, check that the seals are correctly placed and insert the new tank. Replace the top plate and screw it securely into place.
The TOGO Mini 4.0 has the same feeling of solidity and oozes 'heavy duty' vibes. Go with a Black TOGO for total stealth mode, the Red one - a bold yet subdued statement or express your wild side with 'Safety Orange' : there's no way you'd loose it on a dark night!
