The latest version of the highly popular Kanger Tech ProTank series, the ProTank 2 is a fully re-buildable Clearomiser with all parts able to be removed for cleaning or replacement.
The ProTank 2 has a Pyrex glass tank, sealed between the drip tip connector rod and the threaded base with silicone O rings. The Coil is located in the threaded base and feeds directly from the tank, ensuring no dry hits or flooding. The removable delfin style stainless steel drip tip is sealed by a smaller silicone O ring.
The replaceable coils are available in 1.8 and 2.2 ohm variants and are longer than the H Series Coils, producing good vapor (the ProTank 2 Coils are interchangeable with the H Series Coils ).
The combination of metal components, Pyrex glass tank and silicone O rings makes for a leakproof and highly durable Clearomiser. Having said that, the tank is glass and can break under the right conditions (for example, repeatedly dropping it or dropping something heavy on it).
There are 4 small slots in the base of the unit which supply a limited air flow to the Clearomiser, however you can improve the air flow with the addition of an adjustable Air Flow Valve. The Air Flow Valve replaces the standard base entirely and becomes the point where the coil screws in, just like the original base. To fit the Air Flow Valve, you simply unscrew the standard base and remove the coil. Screw the coil into the Air Flow Valve and then screw the Air Flow Valve onto the Clearomiser.
Rotate the notched ring in the middle of the Air Flow Valve to cover or expose more of the holes in the centre ring, allowing more or less air into the Clearomiser which will create more vapor and an easier, more airy draw.
Keep in mind however, that the air flow on a ProTank 2, even with the Air Flow Valve, is never going to be as strong as the air flow in current model vape units [they use slots to allow air in whereas the ProTank Air Flow Valve has small pin-holes to create air flow].

Simple to fill, you just remove the threaded base and fill as you would any other bottom coil Clearomiser. The ProTank 2 has a 2.5ml capacity, but you can get pretty close to 3mls into it if you fill while holding the Clearomiser on only a slight angle. Replace the threaded base, connect to your Battery and you're ready to vape.
Coil Tips :
* Sub Ohm coils are favoured by direct to lung vapers
* Std Ohm coils are favoured by mouth to lung vapers
* Lower Ohm coils will use more power, draining the battery faster
* Lower Ohm coils will also generate more heat in the unit itself
* If you notice the unit is heating up during operation, this is perfectly normal. Extra heat generated during operation is passed out via the body of the battery, effectively using it as a 'heat sink'. The battery has overheating and short circuit protection functions and will stop working if it does actually overheat beyond the normal working range. Should this occur, you will need to allow the unit to cool completely before operating again
* The manufacturers of our coils have put it out there that the 0.5 Sub Ohm coil is indicated as the best resistance for good vapour production and life span overall at a low to medium power level, and is likely the most popular ohm rating for a variety of coil types and styles.
